FHS Band Boosters Meeting June 23rd 2008

Meeting called to order at 7 p.m. by President Tina Heath.
New Board members were introduced.

New Uniform Discussion: The new uniforms are scheduled to arrive in August.

Booster Meeting Discussion: It was decided to have the first Booster meeting at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of band camp (7/22) and to have the new parent orientation at 6 p.m. (prior to the regular meeting). We will make signs and advertise the new parent meeting as students arrive and are picked up from band camp on Monday and Tuesday. There will be no need for a Booster meeting in August, so the next meeting after July 22nd will be on September 9th at 7 p.m.

Budget Discussion: Dan Klarner gave a Treasurer's report with expenditures for the 2007-08 year, ending on June 30th. Dan made a motion to transfer approximately $2700 from the Operations account to the Booster account to balance the budget. It was seconded by Ron Rogers and passed unanimously. Dan presented the committee with a proposed 2008-09 budget. Dan made a motion for the Board to accept the budget as presented, it was seconded by Sharon King, and passed unanimously.

Adjournment: Motion to adjourn was made by Ron Rogers and seconded by Steven Rodgers. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
