Treasurer’s report was not made (Bob Browning was absent).

OLD BUSINESS /CHAIRPERSON REPORTS:
Concession (M. Gubanc) – D. Boykins stated that pizza and drinks were the best sellers. Mr. Rogers reminded the group that usually neither Ooltewah nor Soddy Daisy games have large attendees.

T-shirts & Magnets (P. Shaw) – Currently T-shirts are not here. She encouraged the sale of magnets, ($5 each) still lots available.

Jewelry (B. Browning) – Sales have been about 50 to 60 orders per game.

Fruit Sales (M. Murphy) – Parents help was requested for Blitz Day and for unloading/sorting fruit. Blitz Day activities were explained. About $665 in sales needed to off set remaining band fees. A memo of fruit sale activities was handed out. Prices are same as last year. Sale officially starts October 19, 2005.

Chaperones (M. Evans) – E-mails are being sent out for upcoming games and competitions.

Uniforms (M. Johnson) – It was requested that she should be contacted if there are any problems with uniforms or if students need extra things (such as gloves or anything forgotten).

E-Mail & Directory (C. Boykins) – D. Boykins stated that there are still a few e-mail addresses, which can not be linked to the owners.

Kroger Cards (C. Schroeder) – FHS band cannot participate in the cards program because FHS is participating in the caring and learning program. Still there are a number of cards already purchased and the band can make about $200 profit if they are sold. Caring and learning codes were distributed to boosters. Mr. Taylor plan to place the code on band website for further distribution. Mr. Rogers has discussed the caring & learning program with Mr. Reynolds, and it was agreed that the band would receive about $1800 for their participation share (this will cover bus expenses to the Bradley County game).

Calendars (S. Davy) – Chick-fil-a coupon calendars (about $25 worth of coupons per calendar) available for $5 each. $2 profit per calendar. There is no investment associated with sale. Calendars were distributed for review. Mr. Rogers stated that he thinks calendar sale timing will cut into fruit sales. L. Pickens stated that kids sale too much, so maybe calendar sale should be performed at football games. It was motioned and seconded (L. Pickens and C. Schroeder) that calendars be booster project. The motion was carried by booster vote.

Web Site (S. Taylor) – Currently site is behind on event pictures.

Golf Tournament (B. & B. Browning – D. Boykins) - March 17 or 31, 2006 potential dates, Mr. Rogers prefer March 31, 2006 (9:00 AM to ~ 2:00PM, shotgun start) date due to the fact that FHS is hosting concert festival and students will be busy helping as needed. L. Pickens motioned that tournament be held on March 31, 2006 and P. Shaw seconded the motion. Boosters agreed by vote. Chairpersons and teams still needed (T. Earith is currently only chair person). Interested persons should see B. Browning ASAP. B. Browning recommended that if no chairpersons and committees are established by the November meeting, the tournament should be cancelled. Mr. Rogers and L. Johnson stated that the FY budget needed the anticipated $8, 000 + from the golf tournament.
